I, too, am looking for descendents of John Ash d.1800KY. I have traced my line, with sources, back to John (my line Reuben, son of John). Has anyone figured out where John came from? It was said in some sources in KY that he came with his brother Henry to KY very early, ca 1774. There are lots of records of John but almost nothing on Henry. And who was John's first wife who was killed by Indians abt 1782?
