AT the end of each signature, on the copy of the land record of heirs of Daniel Ash, is a hand drawn circle with the word "seal" inside it. On this copy there are eight "seals" but only six names visible. Apparently the ink has faded and Elizabeth's signature did not copy well. It may still be visible on the original, which is in the Scott Co. court house. R-9 page 271-272. Why eight seals and only seven heirs named, I can not say. Elizabeth, was definitely an heir of Daniel Ash. She died in Miller Co. MO.
