My great grandparents, Lawrence Hanger and Mary Magdalena Aschenbrenner, came to the U.S. on the Helvetia in 1852. Mary Magdalena was born Sep 1830 in Bavaria and died in Pennsylvania Sep 1909. I'm not sure if they met on the ship or before. Both were shown as being from Bavaria but they weren't married until they arrived in the U.S. I have no information on siblings or parents for either of them.
Any info or direction you can provide would be very welcome!
