There is a Lincoln County, NC Marriage Bond for Abraham Ashebrener to Mary Grose (Gross) dated 22 May 1814. Abraham was the son of Henry, son of Urban. However, in Catawba County, NC censuses from 1850 - 1880, Abraham's wife is listed as Sarah. Is Sarah a second wife? If so, I suspect she may have been Sarah Dagenhardt, widow of John, who died in 1826. Sarah is not found as head of household from 1830 - 1880. In 1850, Abram Ashbranner and wife Sarah are living next door to John Dagenhardt, Jr., son of John Dagenhardt, Sr. and wife Sarah.
Does anyone know the burial location of Abraham Aschenbrenner and his wife or wives? They are not listed in published Catawba County, NC cemetery records.
