I updated an Aschenbrenner Family tree in 1989. If I read your lineage correctly, you are Ryan Lee Aschenbrenner, born 5-29-81.

My grandmother was Anna Aschenbrenner Rank, who's brother, Joseph, appears to be your great-grandfather.

I have all the details that I can send you in the mail, but here's the earliest roots that I have...

Gregor Aschenbrenner was born in January 1827. He married Katherina Zettle; they had a son, Karl, who was born in Germany on October 14, 1854. Karl Aschenbrenner came to America in 1872 at the age of 18. He married Franciska Kollross, who was born in Hammern, Bohemia on October 5, 1853. She arrived in America in 1871--a year earlier than Karl, also at the age of 18. Together Karl and Franciska had 10 children. Both Karl and Franciska died in Luxemburg, Wisconsin; Karl died Feb. 20, 1932 and Franciska, a week later, February 8, 1932.

Their first born was your great-great grandfather, Joseph, born 3-5-1875. Their 8th child was my grandmother, Anna Aschenbrenner Rank, born 7-19-1892. I celebrate my grandmother's birthday every year. She was a wonderful, kind-hearted woman.
