Catherine Ashabranner who married Joseph Taylor in Washington Co IN in 1843. Catherine was born about 1826 in IN. Her father is thought to be:
Henry Ashabranner b. abt. 1773 in Lincoln Co NC. I have been told that he married Sarah Kiser on January 27, 1807 in NC. (All additional info is unverified) His parents are given as:
Henry and Barbara Ashabranner. His parents:
Urban and Anna Marie Aschenbrenner.
He came to America on 3 December 1740 on the ship "Samuel" landing in Philadelphia PA. No passenger list was made other than a list of males over the age of 16, but he probably traveled with his wife and at least 2 children from Rotterdam. He died about 1795 in Lincoln Co., NC.
