Fulda Free Press 5/10/1906 - "On Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., Elvin E. Goin and Miss Agnes Ascheman were married at the Catholic church in this village, Father Van Hoenhaker officiating. A number of the bride's relatives witnessed the ceremony. The happy couple were surprised with a good fat purse of cash and other presents. After the ceremony the party went to the residence of the bride's parents where a sumptuous dinner was served.
Alice Fitzsimmons and Mayme Leary acted as bridesmaids and John Ascheman and Geo. Rauenhorst as best man.
The bride wore a dress of blue India silk and carried white roses. The groom was dressed in conventional black. First bridesmaid wore white voile and second wore silk organdie, both carrying roses and carnations. Those out of town who were present were Rose Ewald, Emma Perrizo, Cora Hartman, Jennie and Sarah Fitzsimmons, all of Delevan.
The happy twain left on the evening train for their future home in Fulda, Minn., where the bride found a well furnished house including a piano to please her musical talent. Here is hoping that their matromonial launch will find smooth sailing o'er the choppy sea of domestic adventure and that no gales will come to mar the landscape of "Love's Young Dream." - Easton Leader
Mr. and Mrs. E.E. Goin arrived here last Thursday noon.
