Sorry I don't have the date when Hannah Ascah died. I have been thinking about the word 'Gaskill' associated with her name. The sound is very fimilar and close to the way 'Ascah' is pronounced (ask-kee). Maybe the name was used to show how to pronounce the family name and over time the letters got misspelled until their meaning got lost.In what context did you find this name??
