Hannah Ascah was the first born (of six) of Richard Asach and Christiana Mellick. She was born in Quebec city (Fort Michele) on April 8 1763 just before her parents moved to settle in Gaspé. Richard was a soldier in Wolfe's army and fought at the Plains of Abraham.Richard-march,1 1724 to Dec. 27, 1791. Christiana- Dec. 31, 1735 to 1806. I have no idea what 'gaskill' refers to. I have the complete family tree of the Ascah in Gaspé, Quebéc.
