I am researching the possiblity that Thomas Baker in my family line is the Thomas Baker son of James and Christina Ascah Baker.
My family lore has my Thomas born 1814 in Perce, Canada.
My Thomas married Mary Story who was born in Boston. The first known settlement of Thomas and Mary Story Baker was in Brewer Maine prior to 1845. Their son James Augusta Baker was born in Brewer Maine in 1845 and later married Martha Louise Austin daughter of Daniel and Amanda Hurlbut Austin in Lowell, Mass.
Although I have not yet proven the son of James and Christina Ascah Baker is my Thomas I am in hopes that someone has a confirmed answer. I do not know the siblings of Thomas Baker only his DOB, POB, and marriage.
