Hi Asbury family,
Can anyone tell me where the name Asberry/Asbury might fit into the Shugart family? Did some family members marry Asberrys/Asburys? My husband's dad, grandfather and a gg-uncle(and I think a few cousins)have that name either as a middle name or as a first name(gg-uncle). Earl B.C. Shugart(which is my husband's line) came from VA & TN areas where there were nearby towns with those names. Asberrys, VA, just north of Marion and Asbury, TN just east of Knoxville. So I am assuming the Asberry/Asbury families lived near by. Any ideas out there?
