The 1930 U. S. Census shows the family of Harry Asbury living at 717 East Oak Street, Taylorville, Illinois. Harry and his wife Nora were both 43 years old in 1930 and they had three sons, Charles 17, Raymond 14, and Forrest, 10 years of age. Their daughter, Melba or Nelba, (the name is difficult to read) was five years old. All of the boys were attending school, presumably the older two in high school.
Harry's grandfather and my great grndfather were brothers. We are searching for the descendants of Harry and Nora to join with other family members in a Y-DNA project.
