I am looking for an Asberry, Asbury female that went by Jennie bn abt 1877 but can't find her. The story is mother died while she was very young and was raised by an Uncle Bernie (Sharp)She had a brother that also was raised by the Uncle as the father remarried and the wife didn't want to raise his children.
Her mother was born in Tn and she was born in Tn but I can't locate a Jennie that fits. Can't find her until she married in 1895 to Robert Allen (Bob) Pruitt born in 1871 in Camp Co Texas. She is on the 1900 census in Indian Territory. Her Death Cert shows father John Asbury (Asberry) Ashbury. mother unknown.
Jennie & Robert Pruit married in Montague Texas and in the 1880 Montague Tx census there was an E Asbury living there age 22. Can any one help me locate my G Grandmother?
