Hi Jerry
I use Ancestry.com to search the Census. I have not found anything that supports what I have on George being married to Sarah Wooten, other than what Carl Asbury has in his book. Chances are that your source is correct on the marriages. I can not find my source on the informatiuon I have that George and Sarah Wooten had a daughter named Elizabeth.
I did look in the 1930 Census and found the following.
All of these Asbury's were listed on the same page. It would seem that Charles W. lived with George in 1930.

Jessie age 28--wife
Jane ? age 8----daughter
Nora age 7----daughter
Rallise ? age 5--daughter
Leta age 2?-daughter

Stanford and Jessie were born in Kentucky
the children were born in Tennessee. They owned their property.
Asbury Hailey age 60---head
Hallie age 11----granddaughter
Hailey was born in Kentucky, Hallie was born in Tennessee. Hailey owne her property. Hailey was widowed.
Asbury Shelby age 49----head
Laura age 41------wife
Stanley age 20---son
Easie ? age 9-----daughter
Carman age 4-----daughter
Ruth age 4/12----daughter
Shelby, Laura and Stanley were born in Kentucky. The other children were born in Tennessee. Shelby and Laura owned their property.
Asbury George age 46---------head
Laura age 35----------wife
Charles W. age 79----father
All were born in Kentucky. Charles W was widowed. George owned his property.
Asbury Haskel age 24------head
Nora ? age 15------wife
Shows both were born in Kentucky. They were renting their property (house).
