I have 1850 census, Stanley county, NC, Sheet #49 & #50, Smith District #7, August 1, 1850.
This census shows a Nancy, female age 52, born in Virgina. Her husband is William Criscoe, Sr., male age 62, farmer born in NC.
If you substract Nancy's age (52) from the 1850 census, you end up with a dob 1798. William L. Criscoe had a son by the name of George William Criscoe. I have a list of all the children of William, Sr. and Nancy Criscoe. Think about this and if you think it's something you are searching for, I will help you with some of the other facts.
