I am looking for Asbell's and Aswell's from the NC- VA area. Sometime during the 1800's, someone in my family changed their name from Asbell to Aswell. I have relatives with both names. My greatgrandfather was James Asbell,b.1877. He had a brother named John Asbell and a sister named Margaret ASWELL. Help me!!!
