dawn, are you still out there?.....Hello,
I wanted to make myself known......my name is Rudolph (Joe) Brek Fox; Son of Rudolph Fox and Rebecca Sue Aswell....she is the daughter of Daniel Vernon Aswell (b. 1910/d.1974) and Louise Rhea (b.1919/d.1980).....my grandfather was the son of Gustus Grimm Aswell and Susan Rebecca Jones....it looks like his parents were Martin Asbell (b.1840) and Harriet Ward (b. 1853). I can't seem to get any farther than there. The Aswell/Asbell clan they come from are from up around the Bertie(NC), Hertford(NC), Gates(NC) and Nansmond (Va) region. I would love to hear if there is a connection.
