The Kentucky Arvins come from two related branches of the family line who migrated west begining about 1800. One, the Maryland branch, is related to Thomas Arvin (1714-1800). The other, the Virginia line is related to the Maryland line circa 1700. The origins of the family in America come from Isle of Wight County, VA ca 1622. Those Arvins came from Glochestershire, England. Read more at my website. http://members.home.com/arvinfamily
