It is with great sadness that I post this message.
Trefford Arvin, Sr. (my grandfather) passed away in Lexington, Kentucky on March 16, 2005. He was the son of Sarah Harris and Nathaniel Green Arvin of Estill Co., Kentucky. His birthday was March 12, 1926 (I'm fairly certain of the year) He had double bypass surgery in January and never made it out of ICU.
He is survived by:
His wife- Agnes Mae (Bentley) Arvin
His 9 children:
Trefford, Jr., Mike, Denna, Mona, Vina, Tonya (my mother), Yolanda, Kay and Patsy.
As well as a bunch of grandchildren (of which I am one of)
and a whole lot of great-grandchildren (of which my children are two of)
He was laid to rest via military burial on March 19, 2005 at Camp Nelson.
He will be missed.
