Sherri: I hope my request is correct. My G-G-Grandfather(?) was married to Theresa Arvin. He was Thomas Kidwell. Their son was John H. Kidwell. He married Barbara Ellen Dant and their son was Thomas Albert Kidwell. Thomas married Sarah Isabelle Goens. Their daughter, Dorothy Mary Thelma Kidwell, was my mother. She was married to Houston Samuel Smith. I seem to have reached a brick wall with my mother. We know she was born in Worthington, IN, but I can find anything else about her. So, I decided I would look at the collateral lines. Thomas and Theresa were married September 27, 1834 in KY where they were both born, if my info is correct.
We have not been able to locate where Thomas Albert Kidwell is buried. He died of lockjaw while stationed in the Coast Artilliary at Ft. Totten, NJ(NY?) My sister contacted Ft. Totten, but all they could tell her was that his body was taken to Worthington, IN.
Any help you could give me on the Kidwells would be greatly appreciated.
