Tammy, in regard to David Elsworth Artz and wife Lizzie Bixler, do you still need info? Lizzie was first married Dec 1905, to Arthur A. E. Dunkelberger (1880-1909) and with him had 2 children: Eva E. and Ned Nathan, surname was Dunkelberger.
Eve E. was born 10 Dec 1906 and died about 1977 she married Earl Yoder, I believe. Ned (b. 1908) married Mae Maurer. After Dunkelberger's death she married probably late in 1910 to David Artz, as he was still living with his parents when the census was taken in 1910, and Lizzie was with her children in 1910 at her parents home in Hegins. Her son Ned was still with his maternal grandparents in 1920 They were Emanuel Bixler and Lillie "Emma" (Fetterolf) Bixler.
David was caring for Eva and his own children: Carrie and Florence in 1920 and they also had a son Edward Leroy Artz who was born and died in April 1914.
As for Carrie Viola Artz (1911-1982,) she married Ray E. Dockey (1902-1981) and both are buried in Sweitzer Cemetery, Berrysburg area, Dauphin Co., PA and I think Florence Marie Artz (1912-1977) married Marlyn L. Lesher (note the spelling of his first name) (1910-1981) and they are buried in Valley View, Church of God.
Hope this helps a bit quinn136@ptd.net
