I am interested to know more about #9 (Johannes) on this list of children born in Mook. I know that my father's family comes from Mook, and that my great-grandfather's name was John (Johannes?), and that my great-grandmother's name was Wilhelmina Claussen. I am thinking my great-grandparents connect to the family you've listed.
If my deduction is correct, then my Artz lineage looks like:
Johannes Artz (11/29/1789, NL)
Johannes Artz (12/05/1833, Mook NL; moved to Hoven SD USA)
Bernard Lambert Artz (?)
Arnold Josiah Artz (4/17/1923, Exeter CA USA)
Do you have any further information on Johannes Artz (12/5/1833)- specifically, when he came to the USA?
Also, what is your connection to the Artz family?
