From the Union County Il. website I found where I.B.Artz came to Union County in 1877. Isreal's tombstone had the date of his birth as Aug.19,1827 and died October 11,1904, 77years,1mo.,22da. I am getting ready to send for his death certificate.
I forgot to mention that in the Richland County Ohio 1860 Census there was a John Artz age 64 born in Pa. and Sarah age 60 born in Pa. Harry age 24 born Pa. Edmund Short age 20 born in Pa._______ Short male age 14 born in Pa. Mandaior? Rogers male age 10, Lavina Long age 12 born in Pa.
