My name is Karen VanDyke, I'm just recently starting to research my family history for the sake of my children. My Great-Great Grandmother was Sara or Sarah Jane Artrip. What I know is that she was from Clintwood, VA. And she had my Great-Grandmother Orpha by an indian man. I believe his name was Johnny Redfeather. Sara(Sarah)Jane Artrip later married O.R. Baldwin, who raised my great-grand mother Orpha, she went by the name of Orpha Baldwin. If you have any information on her or her family I would greatly appreciate it.
