Seeking info, ancestors, descendants of JAMES ARTRIP, born 1788, Montgomery Co, Va, died c1868, Russell Co, Va. Married Mary Kiser and had 13 children. Bicentennial Russell County newspaper article states James was the son of a JASPER ARTRIP. There is a marriage record in 1867, Russell County where JAMES ARTRIP married a Ruth Sykes. This document says his father was a JONATHAN ARTRIP. Also interested in what nationality the name might be; Welsh??

Have lots of info on descendants of JAMES ARTRIP; willing to share. Appriciate all help.
