What I know of my family tree is as follows:
My father is Robert Jennings Artrup. He was born in 1946 and died in 1998. His siblings are William Joseph, Clara Sue and James Everitt (deceased, 2005). His parents are Jack Everitt Artrup (1922-1991) and Mary Ellen Cosgrove (later Crawford). Jack Artrup's parents were Norman James Artrup and Myrtle Dyer. Norman James' parents were William Artrip and Ida May Colegrove. While I can trace the lineage of Ida May Colegrove, I have nothing for William Artrup. His last name was also spelled ARTRIP, according to the 1930 US Census. We are trying to figure out what branch of the Artrup's/Artrip's we're related to and when our ancestors came to the United States as well as where they came from. Any help would be appreciated. It's taken me nearly ten years to compile what little information I have.
