This Obit appearedin a Huntington, WV newspaper this morning:
ELIZABETH ARTRIP, 97, of Huntington, W.Va., died Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004, in Mariner Health Care in Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004, at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova with the Rev. Leo Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. She was born June 28, 1907, in Wayne County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Charles L. and Bertha Jackson Noble. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Artrip; a daughter, Thelma Small; 12 brothers and sisters; and a niece, Delores Jean Basenback. She is survived by her caregiver of 17 years, Bernice Enix of Huntington; a granddaughter, Sandra Small Hawkins of San Francisco, Calif.; a grandson, Boone Edward Small of Richmond, Va.; and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova.
