Jequeta, I searched my records for Hattie M. ARTER and did not find anything. I originally thought she might be daughter of Isam Green and Minerva Dill ARTER, like nickname for Harriet or Matilda, but they both died young and could not have married. The only two other daughters that reached maturity were Martha Elizabeth and Hester. and they could not be Hattie M.
Next thought was maybe a cousin. Daughter of one of Isam Green's brothers (sons of william H. and Elizabeth Oliver ARTER). I have list of kids for Robert N. Arter and Hattie is not there, although I'm not sure the list is complete. John L. Arter died young in civil war and I think only had one son(john l. jr?)Only other brother that I had was William H. Arter (Jr)and I have nothing on his children.
let me know if you find out anything about her. Also what is your source?
