My Mothers maiden name is Arter. Her father was John Russell Arter. I was 8 months old when he died in 1965. He was married to Laura Dorthy Dunning who was my grandma, she passed away in 1994. I know very little about them. Would be very interested in hearing from any one who might remember them. My mom was the oldest, Margaret Edith Rader, she has a sister Roberta Boyd who lives in Florida and the youngest is my Uncle John Jr. who lives in Ottumwa Iowa. This where they grew up. Mom now lives in Washington Iowa. Grandpa Arter worked at John Morrell company in Ottumwa till he retired. I would love to hear from anyone who thinks we are related.
