I have no idea if your Arsenaults are the same as my Arsenaults but I am intrigued that you have also posted to the DesRoches forum. My grandmother was Mary Matilda (Baltide?) Arsenault. She was born in Tignish, PEI, on April 28, 1893. I believe her parents were Joseph Arsenault and Judith DesRoches. I recall her telling me that her father had died when she was fairly young. Her mother then moved to St. John, New Brunswick, remarried to a Taylor, and had at least one more child. There were several children from her mother's first marriage. I believe I remember my father's mentioning the following as names of some of his aunts and uncles: Annie (or Addie), Lizzie, Joseph, and Jack.
Should you, in your search, come across anything that might be of help to me, I would appreciate your passing that along.
