Dear Brenda,
If you think they may have been Catholic get in touch with St. Judes in Tignish PEI. Maybe they would list parents on marriage certificate. The town may also have a listing. My grandmother Josephine Buotte was an Arsenault from Tignish. Her father was Joachim and her mother Teresa Gallant. don't know if we are related, did you have anyone by the name of Joachim in the family. She was born in 1878 and came to Westbrook Maine. Did anyone on the Chiasson side come to Westbrook Maine? If so I may have a connection for you. Sincerely Diane Cox
