Does anybody out there have an O'VILDA ARSENAULT in their files? He may possibly have used his middle name with Joseph being his first name. He married MARY CAROLINE LEBLANC in PEI, and they lived there throughout their married life. She was born in 1886 to Daniel LeBlanc and Virginia (Gallant?). I assume he was born about the same time.
I believe his family may have moved to PEI from the USA or possibly Nova Scotia. Chances are pretty good that his father's first name was O'Vilda. In all my searching I have not been able to find this name.
Also, MARY CAROLINE LEBLANC remarried after O'Vilda died to JOSEPH SYLVAIN GALLANT. He had 4 sons and 1 daughter from his first marriage. I would love to hear from anyone who has info on this man and his children.
JOSEPH SYLVAN GALLANT died prior to 1956 but I am uncertain as to the exact year.
O'Vilda and Caroline (as she was more commonly known) are my husband's adoptive father's parents.
Anything at all would be greatly appreciated - this is a stone wall.
