Hi Diane - Your husband and I share the sane genealogy from Pierre Arseneault born 1646 in France, died about 1710 in Beaubassin, married Marie Guerin about 1686. Children: Charles ( my line ) b. 1690, Jacques ( your husband line) b. 1692, Francois b. 1694, Anne b. 1697, Claude b. 1699, Augustin b. 1700, and Abraham b. 1702.
* Jacques Arseneault married Marie Poirier Feb. 6, 1720 in Beaubassin, Acadie. They had 7 children ( I have them ) one of witch was Jean.
* Jean Arseneault b. 1729 Beaubassin married Madeleine Boudreau Nov. 3, 1750 St. Pierre-du-Nord, Ile St-Jean. Children: Joseph, Louis,Anastasie, Marie. I have more if you like.
** In dedication to my Grand-Mother Margaret Arseneau, I am willing to help any Arsenault with their genealogy.
