Hi there;
I am trying to locate my great grandfather's date and place of birth as well as more family background information, e.g. Max's father and mother. Here is what I have been able to find to date. Maxim (or Mack) married Margaret C. O'Grady. Margaret was born 7 Dec 1847 in Nova Scotia, possibly around Pugwash. She died in N.S. 25 August, 1922. Maxim and Margaret had three children: James Rupert, Edith (who married Arthur Jewkes), and Harry C.(my grandfather), who married Ola Simpson. James Rupert was born 14 May 1868, believed to be in Shediac, N.B. and married Mary McConan. He died 23 Oct 1922. Harry was born 30 Oct 1880 in Port Philip, N.S. (near Pugwash)and died 23 July, 1950 in Springhill, N.S.
I am organizing a Arseneault Family Reunion in 2012 for Harry's descendants (about 200) and would like to be able to inform them of their past history. Any help you can provide would very much be appreciated. Thanks.
