David, Germain Arsenault and Domithilde Goguen were married in Cocagne, NB, on 18 Nov 1861.[1] Germain was born 16 May 1838, the son of Pierre and Marguerite (Goguen) Arsenault.[2] Domithilde was born 24 Dec 1841, the daughter of Hilarion and Marcelline (Savoie) Goguen.[3] Germain's father, Pierre, was in turn the son of Urbain and Victoire (Arsenault) Arsenault.[4] If you're interested in tracing back further, you can find Urbain Arsenault and his ancestors in Stephen White's popular collection of Acadian genealogies.[5] By the way, according to his baptismal record, Calixte Arsenault was actually born on 06 Oct 1863.[6] Hope this is helpful. Good luck, Tom Arseneault
