Leon,

You may be interested in a 1985 article in the Bulletin d'Histoire et de Généalogie published by the Société Saint-Pierre in Chéticamp. Entitled "Notre famille Arsenault", the article describes the family of a Pierre Arsenault (b. c1766) who is believed to have come to Margaree from Bay Fortune (today Rollo Bay, PEI). There is a Rémi among the listed descendants. He married twice, first to Ursule Doucet, second to Marie Larade. The full citation of the article (which is written in French) is as follows:

Burns, Edmond J. "Notre famille Arsenault." Bulletin d'histoire et de généalogie, (Chéticamp: La Société Saint-Pierre), vol II, no. 4 (October 1985), pp. 8-10.

Hope this is helpful to you.

Good luck,

Tom Arseneault
