Hi Wendy, Rechecking what you have, I noticed we have different parents for Scholastigue Arsenault. You have Remi Arsenault & Rosalie Poirier, may I ask where you got that information? I checked my Maddix/Walsh binder, I use to live close to the Acadian Museum in Miscouche,PEI & I have a lot of info from there. I have the following
James Maddix Egmont Bay
parents: veuf le feve Anne MacDougall
Married; May 12,1851
To: Scolastie Arsenault Egmont Bay
parents: Joseph Arsenault & Isabelle Poirier
Standing: Gilbert Arsenault & Helen Poirier
That is what was on the index card.....they have ways to look-up info....what I should do is look-up marriage of James Maddix & Anne MacDougall. His parents name may be there. The Museum has been know to make errors. I can also e-mail the Egmont Bay church. May I ask once again where you got her parents name?
