ARSENAULT, Borden Joseph - 73, Amherst, NS passed away Sunday, June 17, 2007, at home. Born in Amherst, NS he was a son of the late Clarence and Martha (Purdy) Arsenault. Bordie enjoyed spending time at his son's camp and had a passion for hunting, fishing and camping. He taught himself to play the guitar and loved listening to old time music, dancing, his grandchildren and family gatherings. In his earlier years, he enjoyed his CB Radio and recently spent time talking to his family and friends on his computer. Bordie is survived by his son, David (Janet), Brookdale; daughters, Bonnie Arsenault (Michael Green), Fort Lawrence; Cindy (Paul) Allen, Pugwash, and Marlene (Roger) Crossman, Sackville, N.B.; and their mother, Gail; grandchildren, Michael, Jillian, Mark, Amanda, Jason, Matthew, Kristopher, Corey and Bradley; great-grandchildren, Morgan and Logan; special friend, Audrey White, and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by brothers, Billy, Pictou; Freddie (Sarah), Truemanville, and Laurie (Cindy), Northport; twin sisters, Rose (Ron) Chapman, Brookdale, and Marie (Dennis) Smith, Ontario. Bordie was predeceased by brothers, Victor and Joe, and sisters, Rita Gates and Kathleen Simpson. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst (667-9906). Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 21, at 2 p.m. in Campbell's Chapel with Rev. Bob Mack officiating. Interment will take place in Fenwick Cemetery.
