Bonjour / Hi, I am always seeking on the irish lineage of MARY WILSON and hope to find a solid paper proof of the ascendance of this irish orphan of 1847. Recently I could add some new clues that I want to share with all, hoping that someone somehere could help us to celebrate the centennial of her death on August 21th, 2007. New clues: Her husband was always known as EXILIA ARSENAULT but this nickname (memory of Le Grand Dérangement des Acadiens) shadowed hir first name ELZEAR as appearing in his marriage certificate of 1861. MARY WILSON and WILLIAM WILSON were two children of the same family registered in the Quebec Catholic Asylum (QCA) on September 14th 1847, but... officially under the name of some fostering parents MICHAEL and ANN MCGRATH. The search could multiple because we don't for sure under which names Mary and William could be found: MARY WILSON (born 1840-41-42 in Ireland (?) from Michael Wilson and Helen Black) MARY-ANN MCGRATH (fostered in QCA 1847 by Michael and Ann McGrath) MARY CAILLE (adopted 1847 in Nicolet, Quebec by Joseph/Louis Caille and Therese Hamel) MARY ARSENAULT (married on January 11th 1861 in Nicolet to Elzear/Exilia Arsenault) and WILLIAM WILSON (born 1839-40-41 in Ireland (?)from Michael Wilson and Helen Black) WILLIAM MCGRATH (fostered in QCa 1847 by Michael and Ann McGrath) WILLIAM BRO/BREAULT (adopted 1847 in Nicolet, Quebec by Paul Bro and ...) BROTHER ?? (became a religious brother where and under which religious name) Mary Wilson and Elzear/Exilia Arsenault raisen 11 children in the USA (Fall River, Mass) maybe between 1866 and 1895 but both came back and died in Canada. Few children came back either but the others became US citizens. Many thanks in advance and Have fun Jacques Laurin Quebec, Canada Notify Administrator about this message?
