You might want to check out the Saint-Nicolas Day church in La Rochelle, France. I've read the register previously and was able to follow an Abraham back to Rochefort, Saintes, Saintonge. According to the document, Marguerite Louise Doucet was Abraham's wife. That's all I have. I wish I had copied the document, but as usual, I saved the bookmark instead and it is no longer active.
