As a descendent of this line I did find the line published in a booklet entitled "Napoléon Arsenault" 1988 by J.T. Arsenault and shows the line as Père Pierre-Paul Arsenault son of Sylvain, son of Joseph, son of Louisson (or Louis and married to Barbe Poirier), son of Jean, son of Jacques who was the son of Pierre Arsenault the original ancestor to Canada.

With regards, Gordon Lavoie son of Ozélie Allain, daughter of Véronique Poirier, daughter of Agnès Arseneaux, daughter of Pierre Arseneaux (who is a brother to the Sylvain Arseneaux mentioned above.) For some reason, my ancestors were using the -eaux spelling...
