Seeking information re: the Rumford Arsenaults. My mother is Lorraine Arsenault and has sisters Donna, Dorothy, Nancy and brother Henry Jr. They grew up in Rumford and were the children of Henry Sr. and Meredith Arsenault. Henry Sr. had sisters Bertha and Joanne (Jody) and brothers Daniel and Albert. With the exception of Henry Sr., they all went by the last name of Arnold and were the children of Alfred and Lena (Gallant) of Andover Maine. My information is that the name was changed to Arnold when they came from Canada as a means of escaping owed taxes. Any information here would be greatly appreciated.
