You might be related to George W. Arrison, native of Pennsylvania, engaged in the commission business for many years and died in the Keystone state at the age of 68.Married Clara Humbert, who was born in Wooster, Ohio; but she died (date unknown). Children were Jane, the widow of Henry Schmitz of Pennsylvania, Ethelbert of Pennsylvania, Newton L, Sarah Elizabeth, widow of Robert McConnell of Ironwood, Michigan, and Nellie, the wife of Richard Hitchens.
George's son Newton L. Arrison was Born October 27, 1853 in Greene county, Pennsylvania. Active in Wapello county politics and an elected official. Occupations:Shipping clerk, clerk in the post office, elected city clerk, in Wapello county Iowa auditor’s office, worked in real estate, during which time he laid out what became known as Park Place.
Lived on the Paris Caldwell estate and in 1901 obtained title.Married Anna Laura Caldwell, 17 March, 1880.Had children.Harry, who married Muriel McDonald and lived in Ottumwa, and Ralph Hackney of Alliance Nebraska who married Elsie Tschirgi and had two children: Dorothy and Glendale.
Religion:Presbyterian (as well as wife)
Clubs:Belonged to Benevolent Protective Order of Elks.
