Sorry, I know nothing of him. In researching my husband's ancestor Malinda I have been trying to collect data for all of her children but with that being said I am only collecting vitals for this couple and not digging into records, land etc. I was just trying to save you from researching, what I believe to be, the wrong path (Mariah). It could possibly be that he simply needed housing and to make a living or given John Arrington was a physician they took him in because of health. I guess we could come up with quite a few reasons.
