JAMES ARRINGTON and MARTHA BAILEY migrated to Winn Parish, La. ca. 1857 from Randolph County, Ga. They were married in either Randolph County or Winn Parish.

Grant Parish was cut out of Winn Parish.

James was killed in the Civil War and Martha next married a Lovett.

Several of the Arringtons moved to Sabine Parish, La.

Do not know if this is your line, but you may want to check Winn Parish GenWeb for whatever info is there.

I am related to the Martha Bailey and her parents and siblings all died in Winn.

Ralph Bailey
Mandeville, La.
