Susan,
So sorry for the long delay in responding. This is quite amazing. My father (Fletcher Douglas Arrington) would have been your father's uncle since he was a brother to Dick Arrington.I remember Aunt Lucretia and Uncle Dick. Also remember playing with and Margaret and Mona (I think her full name was Mona Lisa?) since they and my sister JoAnn were all about the same age- we took a trip to Texas with Aunt Maryalice (Dick & Doug's sister) and Dick, Lucretia, Margaret, and Mona came for a visit to Alabama. We lived didn't get to see each other very much since we lived so far away but I have very fond memories of our times together. Was Lucretia related to the man that married Betty Arrington? He was a Ratcliff but I can't remember his first name...but he was a preacher and they had loads of children, unfortunately, some were mentally retarded.
I would love to find out more about the family members. My email address is [email protected] we could email each other our contact info via email.
My name is Margie Arrington Hinebaugh and I live in Pittsburgh Pa.Am married, no children, and work as a business manager at a university.
Is your father and his siblings still living in Texas? Is Lucretia still living? My mother (Ruth Baxley Arrington) passed away this past November but I didn't have any addresses in Texas so couldn't let anyone know. She was 90 -- I don't think many of her generation are still around.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Margie
