I am researching the children of this family for a possible connection to their son William Arrasmith. While much of the information I have found shows only five children, not including a William, I have found other information that shows additional children. Some of the new information is that Massie/Massey born January 12, 1801 had a twin brother, William. I wondered if anyone had any further information about this family and possibly a will for the parents.
My grandfather, Rev. William Anderson Arrasmith, was born 4-30-1840 but was said to have lived in the Thomas/Charity Arrasmith household in the 1840 census but notes stated, "may not be member of this family". I always assumed that his mother died in childbirth or while he was an infant as based on personal letters and notes that he did not know her name or any other identifying information. I feel that his father may have possibly died shortly after his birth as well.
