Thomas Arrasmith/Charity (2nd wife?)

I am descended from Thomas b. 1733, Thomas b. 1766 and Thomas b.1812, William Anderson b.1834. Information I have states that two older children of Thomas (b. 1812) & Charity (b. abt 1820) namely James W. (b. abt 1833) and William A. (b. 4-30-1834) may have a different mother. That information is based on Charity's age. Does anyone else have any information on the above?
