Hello Cousins,
I just stumbled across this forum. I am decended through the line Thomas>Abner>Massey>William>James>Herman>Daniel>me. Massey and his son, William homesteaded just north of Ames, Iowa (where I'm from) on Arrasmith Trail ~1850. Massey died in 1854 and is buried with his kin there. I need to unpack my gen. files, but then would like to exchange info with anyone interested. I've been trying to find out more about from where Thomas and Mary came to America and activities during colonial period. In the Virginia census, they are on the same page as a Gen. G. Washington, as you already know. I look forward to corresponding with you.
