Well, sorry I haven't answered. Had a major crash, replaced hardrive and all that great stuff.
As far as Mary's last name Jeff, I had seen that too but am skeptical only because I know that "Polly" was a very common nickname for Mary. I did get a name from another cousin of mine as to the father of Thomas and that was Richard. I haven't proven that as of yet for myself. Hope to hear from everyone again.
